Australian ICT Trade Update 2007 provides a
comprehensive review of the latest Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) trade statistics. It is the latest in a series of

Australian ICT Trade Update 2007 presents a detailed
analysis of the evolution of Australia's Information and Communication
Technology trade over the decade 1996 to 2006. This year's report
presents a more

imports and exports (1996 to 2006);
- Australia's balance of trade in ICT related services
(1996 to 2006);
- The major markets for Australia's ICT related
services exports, and sources of our imports (2000 to 2005);
- Australia's software trade trends (1996 to 2006);
- The composition of Australia's ICT equipment imports
and exports (1996 to 2006);
- Australia's balance of trade in ICT equipment (1996
to 2006);

exports, and sources of our imports (1996 to 2006); and
- State-by-State breakdown of ICT trade, including
analyses of ICT equipment and services imports and exports for all the
States and Territories.
Major trends and developments are highlighted, and
